Dr. Magdelene Amoateng (MD)
Primary Care Physician
Magdelene Amoateng (MD) is a dedicated primary care physician with extensive experience in patient-centered care, specializing in palliative care and public health. Completing a residency where she served as Chief Privacy Officer, Magdelene Amoateng (MD) advocated for resident wellness during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that concerns were heard and addressed.
While pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH), Magdelene Amoateng (MD) developed a strong understanding of health promotion and disease prevention, which has effectively informed her medical practice. Following residency, she further honed her skills through a palliative care fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, cultivating expertise in end-of-life care, symptom management, and effective communication with patients and their caregivers.
In addition to her professional commitments, Magdelene Amoateng (MD) enjoys reading, singing, cooking, and spending quality time with family. These hobbies provide a balance to her busy career and inspire her dedication to improving community health.
